Dylan Sidoo Scholarship 2022-2023

Future tech innovators can apply for the Dylan Sidoo Scholarship for Tech Entrepreneurs, where $1,000 will be given to one student who is studying on the road to become an entrepreneur. A short essay will be required and the winner will be chosen based off of the content in that essay.

Scholarship Overview

Dylan has spent many years as a tech entrepreneur and would like a chance to give back to the next generation of tech students with his scholarship award.

The Dylan Sidoo Scholarship for Tech Entrepreneurs announces our fund which is available for future tech students located in the United States. We will provide funding for a deserving student who is studying to enter the field of tech entrepreneurship and aim to create awareness for the issues faced by young students on the journey to a career in the field.

Criteria

In order to apply, the applicant should be a current student at a university or High School student that will attend university.  The student should also be studying technology, with plans to launch a tech company once they complete school.

The scholarship will be awarded based on the winner of our essay competition.  One winner will be selected based on a creative essay of under 1000 words which answers:  

“Describe an an issue or problem that exists in the world, and how you could use a new technology to improve upon it.”

Amount

One time award of $1,000

Deadline

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is January 15, 2023.

Winner Announced

The winner for the scholarship will be announced February 15, 2023.

How to Apply

Applicant should email their response to the essay question “Describe an an issue or problem that exists in the world, and how you could use a new technology to improve upon it.” in Word Doc format to [email protected].
