Scholarship for Tech Entrepreneurs
The Dylan Sidoo Scholarship for Tech Entrepreneurs provides scholarship funding to those who are in school and planning to enter the tech industry. Mr. Sidoo is aware of the difficult road that tech students have ahead of them when it comes to both their studies and finances and he wants to give back however he can to our next generation of tech entrepreneurs.
The Dylan Sidoo Scholarship for Tech Entrepreneurs is available to all university students in the United States with the desire to learn to become entrepreneurs and work in the field of technology. This scholarship is also open to high school students who will be attending a university and with intentions to become a technology student. Mr. Sidoo knows the burden placed on students who have many years of schooling ahead of them along the road to becoming tech entrepreneurs, and this is why he wants to reward a star student with $1,000 towards their tuition.
Dylan Sidoo is an entrepreneur who has worked in the venture space for almost 10 years. He attended the University of Southern California and graduated Cum Laude. There, he was also a part of the USC Men’s Rugby team. Dylan is the founder of Stryker Entertainment, LLC, a film acquisitions and distribution company, and the founder of Disappears.com Inc., a private messenger system, which he launched simultaneously.
Dylan Sidoo understands from first hand experience that there is a difficult road ahead for tech students. Having many years of success with his own career as well as his own companies, he wants to give back to the next generation of tech students with this scholarship fund. Mr. Sidoo understands that the continually rising costs of education, especially for tech school, put an undeserved strain on students who are studying to become tech entrepreneurs. For this reason, he would like to give an opportunity to a deserving student with a $1,000 scholarship award. Through this scholarship, Dylan hopes to not only raise awareness for the financial struggles of those going through the many years of tech school on the long road to a career in entrepreneurship, but also help out one of our future tech leaders of America.
